- From the A38 follow signs for Totnes, when approaching Totnes follow signs for Dartmouth and Kingsbridge (A381), at Halwell take the A3122 towards Dartmouth
- Past the golf course and Woodlands adventure park and
- At the Sportsman's Arms turn off to Dittisham and Capton
- After half a mile turn left for Capton
- Go straight down the lane and as the road bears right the gateway is ahead of you.
